Cornflower blossoms are a rich source of flavonoids and other antioxidants with strong anti-inflammatory properties, which are commonly used in the form of eye drops and washes to reduce inflammation. They are great allies of the skin; making compresses with this plant helps reduce inflammation caused by acne or eczema. It's a useful anti-wrinkle treatment and can be an excellent anti-dandruff treatment, simply when used as the final rinse after washing the hair.

In-Salon Use: Choose the hydrolate best for your client and dilute 50ml of hydrolate with 450ml of warm water. Stir the mixture and use either a hydro-dhara or a beaker to distribute the hydrolate over the skin and hair, taking care to apply slowly. Pat dry and leave on for 5-10 minutes in a turban or hair wrap.
Home Use: On freshly washed hair, mist the hydrolate and style as normal. Spray on dry hair for a feel-good sensation and aromatic fragrance.
