    Biodynamic Hibiscus Extract is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine for its powerful antioxidants and flavonoids that thicken hair strands, prevent premature grey and discourage split end formation.

After a Lightening Service: Apply to clean, wet hair after product is removed. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes and rinse.If you are toning, apply and rinse Hmilk before your toner. Hmilk No Stress will give the hair moisture, softness, and even act as porosity balancer before applying the toner, which allows it to take more effectively, while increasing longevity.

Gentle Color Remover: For a gentle lift or tonal changes (1-2 levels), a quick color cleanse can be made with the Hmilk. Color Removal Mix Instructions:

  • 1 part Hbleach
  • 1 part Hmilk No Stress
  • 2 parts Htone (9 volume developer)

Apply to hair and add gentle heat if necessary. Rinse out when the desired lift is achieved. This cleanse helps protect the hair structure while lifting out cosmetic color, and will be the most nourishing color remover you’ve ever used!

Customizing Developers: It can be used with any developer to dilute it and make “in-between volumes.” So the next time you run out of a lower developer or want to make a 5vol, it will surely come in handy!

Examples:

  • 1 part Hmilk + 1 part 20 volume = 10 volume
  • 1 part Hmilk + 3 parts 20 volume = 15 volume
  • 1 part Hmilk + 1 part 40 volume = 20 volume

As a Clear Gloss with Oway Hscreen Add 5-7 pumps of Oway Hscreen to every 1oz of Oway Hmilk No Stress. For coarse, resistant hair types, use 7 pumps. Process for 3min under dryer and cool 1-2 OR they can put it on the mids/ends while processing at room temp for full time (30-45mins).

Unbelievable.

This stuff is what legends are made of. I have a client that has long hair, she LOVES her color and not just darks but blonds too so it's VERY stressful on her hair and I would take about 15/20 minutes to detangle her hair. First time I used this I was able to practically comb through her hair I was astounded. It reminded me allot of the spray in conditioning product that was super popular in the 80's and 90's from SCHWARZKOPF but much more natural. SO I'm a fan! So is my client. The only bummer is this doesn't come in a larger size, like a 35 oz, for the backbar kinda size.

It’s okay

This is a nice treatment to use after lightening and prior to toning. I’m a big fan of pre treatments so I like having a product like this to ensure balance back to the hair before toning. However, it’s not a wonder product and it’s similar to using a conditioner or any other treatment. It’s a product type that is necessary but the product itself is not necessary. With that being said, I would purchase again out of need but I’m also not excited about this particular oway product. Also, the last bit of product (thick cream) is difficult to get out of the glass bottle leading to waist and inconvenience. To add, this may be obvious but do not leave this product next to heat or a sunny window. The product will go bad quickly and it will also cause the pump to leak product from heat pressure.

Hands down, one of my favorite products!!! I love that it is so versatile, and I am able to not only use it as a porosity adjuster in-between chemical services, but can customize different levels of developers and also make a clear gloss treatment!!!
