How to Use
O&M CLEAN.liquid colors have various usages for adding beautiful glossy sheer pigment to the hair. Ideal services include color introduction, grey blending, color refresh, toning, and color correction.


Shake O&M CLEAN.liquid High Gloss Colour well. Do not use metal tools (e.g. bowls, clips, combs). Mix 60ml of CLEAN.liquid High Gloss Colour with 60ml of CLEAN.liquid Activator (1:1). Do not cover or wrap.

PASTELISE: ¼ color + ¾ clear

SENSITISED HAIR: ½ color + ½ clear

Once the development time is over, rinse hair thoroughly until the water runs clear and proceed with shampoo and conditioner.

Color Correction

When reinstating color using CLEAN.liquid to go darker in color, a pre-pigmenting process is required. This will ensure you achieve the desired result and longer lasting color.

Apply pre-pigment shade to dry unwashed hair. Leave to process for 15 minutes. Rinse and gently shampoo to remove excess color. Towel dry, apply target shade. Process for 30 minutes.

Mix 1 part color to 1 part developer gently mix the color in the bowl until blended.

Q: Why does my mixture have bubbles in it?

Over mixing will create bubbles in the mixture, gentle mixing until it gels.

Q: Is a patch test necessary?

Yes, anytime a new color is introduced to a client a patch test is necessary, 24 to 48 hours prior to the service.

Q: What is the difference between toning with the liquids and the regular Cor color?

The Clean liquids are a softer pigment sheer color for toning lighter unwanted tones out of the hair. Stronger tones of orange and yellow can best be toned by the Cor line for a more solid toning finish.

Q: Can I use the Clean liquids 0.00 as a base breaker?

The Clean Liquids will not break a base due to the neutral pH and low volume of activator.

Toning can be anywhere from 10-30 mins. The longer Clean Liquids shades are left on the hair, the longer staying power the toner will have.

For gray blending you will want to leave on the hair for 30 mins.

Q: Can I use the color on sensitized hair?

Yes, due to the delicate nature and sheerness of the pigments, you can apply them to sensitized hair. A strand test is always recommended and you may also dilute with the clear if necessary.

Q: Can I repigmantize my blondes if I am going darker with the Clean Liquid?

Yes, you would follow the recommended shades in the color bible and always mix 1 part color to 2 parts of developer to color correct.

Q: Can I use heat with the Clean Liquids?

Heat is not recommended, only room temperature processing.
